Welcome to the May edition of The Truth… where we bring you all of the latest happenings in the world we call Liquid Force.

Let’s start off by giving some of our Int’l friends some well deserved love…

Trip Across Germany running strong in second season!
Our German friends know how to do it right… having claim to the only wakeboard test tour in Europe, Karsten and his crew have been running around the country this spring and have been having a great time. Check out the picture of their tow vehicle… the 13 ton Expedition Truck and trailer is loaded with the hottest new LF gear for the public to test. The amazing LF Team Germany is in charge of the tour and they’ve been nice enough to invite some of our US pros, Kevin Henshaw and Mike Ennen. Kevin and Mike will be in town as the TAG crew searches out some amazing lakes and cable parks and spreads the stoke of LF to all that they run across. Kevin and Mike have promised to bring back some great photos and stories… look for their journey to appear in a future edition of The Truth. Also…if you can speak German, check out the link to their tour website… if you can’t read German, you may as well check it out for the cool photo gallery…http://www.liquidforce.de/cms/front_content.php?idart=165

As if Germany wasn’t enough for Mike and Kevin to explore…
The two will continue there journey in Europe as they head to France at the end of the month for the NOKIA FISE rail jam. The event continues to be one of our team rider’s favorite events to attend. The event features competitions in many action sports and prominently features wake/rail riding. If you’re going to be in France later this month and would like to meet up with Kevin and Mike, check out http://www.nokiafise.com/accueil_en.php for more details.

Mike Ennen officially claiming LF’s “King of Int’l Travel” title…
Mike has definitely had a busy “off season” of Int’l travel. As you know, he’s in Europe now, but he also just got back from a trip to Argentina with the Red Bull team. According to Mike, it was a great adventure. He and JD Webb traveled to compete in a contest against Argentina’s best and spent plenty of time promoting the sport to the local media. Mike was interviewed on Argentina’s ESPN and Fox Sports, as well as Gravity Zero, which is their version of FUEL. Mike said the event was super fun, and the country was full of “Great riding spots, great food, amazing wine, and beautiful women”. Where do we sign up?

Wondering what happened to our “Join the Truth” contest?
Don’t worry, we’ve been keeping track of the winners and have a few months to catch up on.
Here are the most recent winners…
March Winner: Alex Oliver from Knoxville, TN
April Winner: Jordon Newhouse from Lawton, MI
Both winners have earned themselves a prize package from Liquid Force just for signing up for this newsletter… who says getting free stuff is difficult?

BROstock is almost upon us…
The only question we have for you is…did you book your houseboat yet? If not, what are you waiting for????!!!! Houseboats are filling up fast and BROstock is gaining momentum. With only 4 weeks until the 2nd Annual Lake Powell BROstock (June 8-10), the LF crew is gearing up for a great time! Besides giving all of you the opportunity to come out to the best lake in the world and post up next to our team houseboats, we’ll also be giving those in attendance some sneak peaks at our 2008 product line. Lake Powell will once again be our first shoot for the 2008 product, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to see our gear before the rest of the world does. The crew has been working hard to get it ready, so we’re sure you won’t be disappointed. If you want to hang out and party with us, you need to do one of the following… bring a tent and camp out next to us in Warm Creek Bay, or reserve your own houseboat and post up along side us for the weekend in Warm Creek. To reserve your own houseboat at Lake Powell, or to find Warm Creek on a map, make sure you check out www.lakepowell.com <http://www.lakepowell.com/> .

Can’t go to Lake Powell? Don’t you worry… we have 3 other BROstocks that you can attend.
Smith Mt. Lake, Virginia will be hosting our event over the weekend of August 10-12, and the locals are telling us it’ll be the best event we have all summer! Apparently houseboats are filling up fast… be sure and grab one for yourself. If you want to reserve your own boat, the place to do so is www.parrotcove.com <http://www.parrotcove.com/> . For info on the event and more details, be sure to call our friends at Wake and Skateboard Shop in Moneta, VA…540-721-1941.

If you’d rather attend a BROstock in Canada, or want to attend ALL of our events, Lake Shuswap is ready to rock over the weekend of August 30-Sept 1. If our Canadian team riders partying habits are any indication, this is going to be a rager! Look for plenty of good times on the water, including a daily double up demo featuring all of our top team riders, and then plenty of good times carrying on through the night. Grab all of your BRO’s (and girls) and get your very own houseboat to join us for the party. Check out www.twinanchors.com <http://www.twinanchors.com/> for the best houseboats on the lake.

Details on the 4th and final BROstock will come shortly, as will more details about the other 3 events that are locked in. Details to follow will include exact locations on each lake, info on the BRO-AM event that will be held at each BROstock, and info on how your shop can be deemed the official BROshop at each event. For more info and updates, be sure to keep your eye on http://www.liquidforce.com/brostock.htm.

Maven Sessions…
The Girls of Maven are keeping themselves busy. From Southern Cal to Arizona and up to Northern California, the LF girls have been spreading the gospel of Maven. Along the way, they’ve introduced many girls to the sport for the first time and have taught veterans new tricks. At the end of the day, though, it’s not about what tricks the girls have learned. The Maven Sessions are all about girls getting out on the water together and having a great time. That goal has been accomplished every step of the way. If you’ve missed out on the tour but want to make sure that you attend another one later this summer, be sure and go to www.liquidforcemaven.com <http://www.liquidforcemaven.com/> to learn all about the Sessions and how to sign yourself, your daughter, your friend, or even your Mom up for a great day of fun on the water.

Kyle Walton’s trip/video…
Our favorite wakeskating nomad from Michigan is at it again. Kyle and his crew from Clear Line Productions are on the road and at work on their new Wakeskate Winching project. Kyle and a small crew of dedicated winchers will be searching the country looking for unique hidden spots (and some not so hidden) to take wakeskating where it’s never gone before. The video is schedule to come out later this Fall and a detailed blog of their journey can be seen at www.alliancewake.com <https://alliancewake.com/> weekly. If you run into Kyle and his crew, be sure to chat it up with them and perhaps even give them a ride if the van breaks down. Kyle’s pro model board Impulse 40 is in stores now… all sales help Kyle and his buddy’s live the dream of traveling across the country… help Kyle live his dream and check out his pro model at your nearest LF dealer… http://www.liquidforce.com/dealers.htm

Wakesploration… Devin Stephens and Kyle Walton tear up the Utah landscape…
Before Kyle left on his trip, he stopped off in Utah to hang with Justin Stephen’s and his little brother Deven Stephens. Deven was putting on an event at his local college in Provo and he’d invited Kyle to come tear up the rails. The unique setup involved winches and some cement ponds in the middle of the school. The event drew big crowds and made for some great footage and photos. Images from the weekend can be found at http://wakesploration.blogspot.com/ but we thought we’d show you one of Devin himself, tearing it up on one of the rails. Looks like Justin isn’t the only one with talent in the Stephen’s family…nice work Deven!

LF Team Section on Website gets a facelift…
We’ve recently updated the team/family section on our website. If you want to learn some interesting insight into what it’s like to be Shawn Watson, Melissa Marquardt, or any of our other riders, check out http://www.liquidforce.com/family.htm. This section of the site is soon to be updated with videos, blogs, and other interesting features to keep you entertained by our team.

LF Clinic DVD on Youtube.com and on LF.com…
Did you miss the boat shows? If so, you may have missed one of the best opportunities to meet with our pro riders and talk to them and our designers about our 2007 product line. Luckily for you, we’ve imagined what one of these conversations would’ve been like and recorded our riders and our designers talking about the product. Now you can literally spend hours watching and learning more than you could possibly need to know about the best wake gear on the planet. We’ve put them up on youtube.com, and several of our online friends, including WakeBoarding Magazine (http://www.wakeboardingmag.com/article.jsp?ID=51673&destinationID <http://www.wakeboardingmag.com/article.jsp?ID=51673&destinationID> ) have updated their sites with these as well. If you want to go straight to the source, though, go to any product page on our website such as http://www.liquidforce.com/surfers_custom.htm and you’ll be ready to learn which of our products will work best for you.

Cablestock and Longhorn Rail Jam ready to take over Austin…
No place in the wake community is going to be offering more excitement this weekend (May 11-13) than the Austin, TX area. TSR will be hosting their annual Cablestock festival, and the Texas Wakeboard Tour will be hosting it’s now famous Longhorn Rail Jam on 6th Street in Downtown Austin. LF Pro’s Aaron Reed and Amber Wing will be in attendance at both, as will locals including Tom Fooshee, Richie McKee and Joey Bradley. For more details on TSR’s Cablestock, check out www.texasskiranch.com <http://www.texasskiranch.com/> and for info on the Longhorn Rail Jam, go to www.texaswakeboardtour.com <http://www.texaswakeboardtour.com/> . See y’all there!

KCW/LF Relentless Weekend
If you missed out on last weekend’s activities at KCW, we hope you have a good excuse. With wild weather coming down all around Kansas City, the weather gods were good to those of us at KCW and Friday and Saturday turned out to be good times for all. With the target set on fun, Mike, Carter, Sparky, Brad and the KCW crew hit a bull’s-eye. Several members of the Alliance crew, as well as Aaron Reed, Keith Lyman, Tom Fooshee, and others from LF were ripping it up on the cable park all weekend. A unique “best trick” contest which involved each rider trying to land a trick they’d never done before was the focus of the day, but the highlight had to be the paintball battles, Uncle Rick’s perfect score on his 180 for Captain Wallace’s team, Tom Fooshee’s boot skiing and Skurfing antics, and a great party at Curly Brown’s. A story capturing all of the good times is expected to appear on www.alliancewake.com <https://alliancewake.com/> this week. If you weren’t at the annual KCW/LF Relentless weekend don’t worry, you still have more chances to participate in a great event at KCW this summer. Mike and his crew have several more great events planned. Be sure to check out www.kcwatersports.com <http://www.kcwatersports.com/> for all of the details.

OK… That's it for now… you can stop reading and get back on the water… Don’t worry, we'll return soon…bringing you more of the good stuff we call THE TRUTH!!!!
