I am not much of a cable rider, but I have been wake-boarding a long time. I had this exact conversation with great Houston wake rider a few weeks ago.
About every 5 years this sport changes dramatically. Rider’s that are in it for the long haul get the option to keep doing what they are doing or evolve every few years. In the future, I think the great riders will be defined by those who shred it all. I’m not much of a cable rider, but cable is on it way to Houston in a big way–I plan to evolve at least a time or two more.
Also, air tricks are like rope swinging and rope swinging is fun!! I don’t care if it is lame.
