We’re getting down to the nitty-gritty here, kids. After four quarterfinal Battles we are left with four photos. The winners of the next two semifinal rounds will face off in the final battle for the grand prize from Marine Products. This first semifinal is a matchup between two different worlds: wakeskating at a cable park overseas vs wakeboarding behind a boat on the dirty Delta in California. Both photos are great and unique in their own right, but it is up to you to decide which one deserves to go to the final round.

The bottom pic is better and way sick pic but needs clouds in it

  2. photoedit Says:

I prefer wake/boat of skate/winch all day, but Photo 1: Photographer – Sawe Oualiti is clearly the better composed, more compelling image.

  3. Patrick Hush Says:

Too much going on with the photo 1, hard to tell what the photographer was trying to capture. Photo2 stands out as the better photo.

  4. Joe Baker Says:

Photo 1, while very beautiful, draws my attention to the water
more than the wake boarder. Photo 2 makes the subject obvious. I think it better serves the athlete.

  5. Iñaki Anitua Gil Says:

i see a lot of photos like number 2, but never one like photo 1, I love this olli moment!!!

    Photo 2!

  7. Bridget Willis Says:

To be perfectly honest, I don’t have a clue as top what’s going on in photo 1, photo 2 makes it pretty obvious what’s happening, not to mention that it’s a good picture for the boards maker to advertise with!

  8. Laura Baker Says:

Photo one is nice but out of focus. Love photo two. Very clear
and the riders expression is great!
