Inspired by Jeff McKee's Dustpan article in the Oct-Nov issue of Alliance, the CWB team set out to progress in the sport like nobody has ever progressed before. If you haven't read that particular article, you should. One of Jeff's challenges was to spin either a backside 5 or toeside 7 with a mini handle (the 5-inch ones used for wakesurfing). Jeff, Lyman, Chris Law and Rob Jacques were each given three… maybe five… attempts to land one or the other, but nobody could pull it off.

So in steps team CWB, gathered today for a photo/video shoot and in need of some goofy, fun progression. Trevor Hansen was happy to report that he and Corey Bradley successfully landed several maneuvers with a mini-wakesurfing handle. Corey pulled a switch toe 7, while Trevor pulled switch toe 7, switch heel 7, and backside 5… I sense a new division coming on for the PWT… wakeboarders riding with wakesurfing handles combined with wakesurfers riding at 85-feet back…
