Hyperlite has some new goodies creating quite a buzz for 2011. First and foremost are the new bindings, appropriately titled the System. The System is a separate boot and binding. The binding looks similar to traditional snowboard bindings. There are three different boots (Murray, Marek, and Kobalt) which will suit riders with different preferences (lacing/locking systems, stiffness, support, etc). The System is an entirely new approach to bindings and anytime you walk past the Hyperlite booth, there are a lot of people trying them on and seeing how they feel. Aside from the System Hyperlite also has a couple new boards: Jimmy LaRiche’s pro model the Franchise, Nick Davies’ Process board, and a new flex/rail specific board called the Vigilante. Hyperlite always seem to produce things that will turn heads every year, and 2011 is no different.
