The University of Louisiana at Lafayette wakeboard club recently wrapped up its second annual open tournament on the weekend of June 2nd and 3rd. The two-day event hosted 35 riders and over a hundred spectators who came out in 90 degree weather to show their support. The competition stepped up a notch this year with the addition of a kicker best trick contest to the mix. The level of riding was also being pushed as new tricks and new winners were being thrown down. Video footage of riders in the advanced category will be available soon.
