The three-day extravaganza known as Surf Expo has begun. Alliance has secured a waterfront booth, no seriously, the Step Up rail jam is right next to us. So covering the rail action will be convenient, but we’re also planning on venturing out to check out all the new products.

The first step at any trade show is to walk the halls get the lay of the land, see who’s here, etc. So I decided to take you all with me and snap some quick photos to give you a preview of what’s to come over the next few days.

Admittedly the show is a bit smaller than years past. The good news is the wakeskate brands still seem to be pushing things and there are some really rad products on the shelves. But you’ll just have to wait, as we’ll be going more in depth with each brand as the weekend continues. Stay tuned to the site and follow us on Twitter @alliancewakesk8 for instant updates all show long.
