Stop #2 of the Wake 2 Wake Tour
Prepares to Go Big at the
Texas Ski Ranch in New Braunfels

Carlsbad, CA —Stop #2 of the Wake 2 Wake Tour, a wakeboarding contest series presented by No Fear and sanctioned by the World Wakeboarding Association (WWA), will go off Saturday, June 21st at the Texas Ski Ranch, in New Braunfels.

“Our Tour is all about creating an environment for wakeboarders to compete in fun, high-energy events,” said onsite Tour Director, Mark Pulver. “With sponsors, such as No Fear, MasterCraft, Toyota, Hyperlite, Spy sunglasses, Vans, Protec, CWB and Alliance Wake Magazine, competitors can look forward to boatloads of prizes, awards and cash.”

According to Pulver, the upcoming “Duel in the Desert” event at the Texas Ski Ranch will feature boat and cable competition classes and will accommodate boarders of all ages and skill levels. “There are four age divisions for boys and girls ages five and up, plus Open Men’s and Open Women’s divisions with $500 cash purses.”

In addition to cash and prizes for the finalists, every heat winner scores an instant cash pay-out. “Our contest format generated a lot of excitement at Stop #1 at Lake Elsinore. Competitors and family members enjoyed a great day despite the unfavorable weather and wind conditions late in the day,” Pulver said.

Each Wake 2 Wake (W2W) Tour event complies with WWA rules and standards. At the end of the series, the top three finishers in each division will gain WWA points that could help them qualify for WWA National and WWA World championship series.
